Make your vote count in 2008    

     Presidential election years always draw larger numbers of voters than off-presidential years.  Do you know if you are currently registered to vote?  You can easily check on the Internet by clicking on this link to the Colorado Secretary of State’s Office:

     This will show your registration status as well as contain information about districts in which you reside for other statewide and federal elections.

     If you are not currently registered to vote, please visit the Park County Clerk and Recorder’s office at the County Annex building in Fairplay or the County Building in Bailey. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The Fairplay office is opened throughout the day, but the Bailey office is closed between noon and 1 p.m.

     Regardless of your political affiliation, take the time to register to vote in the 2008 election.  Keep democracy moving forward.
